"I was never a natural athlete. In grade school I almost always came in last, or close to it in any type of athletic endeavor. This was very discouraging. But one day, after my oldest child was born I decided I was going to teach myself to run. I started with a couch to 10k on the treadmill. At first it wasn't bad, but then it got hard … really hard. One particular workout I quit 4 times before completing it. On the 5th time I decided I was not willing to quit anymore, and finally got it done. It was then that I realized what was really keeping me back, my inability to believe that I could. The lesson I learned that day has taken me further than I ever could have imagined. Knowing that it is not about ability or talent, but perseverance, determination, and the will just not to give up. " - Trina Scarrow
